twice today my computer has been redirected to a rouge antivirus the first time, i closed out of the window by pressing alt + f4and later it happened to my mom again. i do not know if she closed out of it or clicked ok on anythingbut when i got on a found a process taking up about 70-98% cpu. it was called inst[3].exei googled it, and found nothingi ended up just ending the process, and i am running superantispyware nowbut i want to make sure that i didn't just do something stupid by ending that processso, what is it?1 person needs an answerI do too

The process belongs to the malware. Here is my standard rogue removal answer but it sounds like you're on the right track: Your system is infected with a rogue security program. It is called "rogue" because it pretends to be A Good Guy but is really Evil. Do not pay them! Both have free versions and you do not need to purchase these programs. These may work for you and all may be well. However, in many cases the computer will also be infected with other trojans and protected by a rootkit. These machines are extremely difficult to clean. If your machine is one of these cases, either get guided help at one of the specialty forums listed at the link below OR take your machine to a local computer professional OR back up your data and do a clean install of Windows.
